Requirements
Grade 12 (Std. 10) or equivalent qualification. The successful candidate needs to be a qualified Artisan Diesel Mechanic with a trade test certificate. Minimum of two years experience, post apprenticeship and have a valid drivers licence (code EC) and a valid Pr DP (Public Driver’s Permit). Experience in maintenance of heavy duty vehicles.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will do mechanical repairs on buses and other related work in the workshop. Overhaul engines and ensure road worthiness of vehicles. Preparation for certification of fitness and registration of buses. Adhering to workshop health and safety procedures;
