Purpose of the Job

We are looking for a Functional Analyst with extensive Retail Pricing and Promotions experience to listen to, and evaluate the demands of our business owners, assessing the practical challenges they face and translating them into technical system configuration solutions that are practical to implement. Our ideal candidate will facilitate implementation and support of SAP Retail, specifically pricing MM/SD, billing and order management and would enjoy supporting junior members of the team.

Job Objectives

Structuring of system strategy such as the development of systems requirements through the design, prototyping, testing, training, defining, and implementation of procedures for support of practical business solutions.
Customizing the respective business area and making sure the system reacts in the manner according to the constraints of the request.
To provide support to the junior members of the team as well as users of the SAP System.
Strong understanding and configuration ability of SAP SD, Pricing (MM/SD Retail), billing and order management functionality with Retail Pricing functions
Strong understanding and configuration ability of SAP Promotions and Bonus Buy functionality

Qualifications
Matric
Degree in Communications (Editorial/Journalism) or degree/diploma in a related field
Corporate/In-house specialist or journalist experience
Project coordination experience

Experience

5 years + as a Functional Analyst
SAP SD outbound logistics management
SAP MM inbound/outbound logistics and inventory management
Previous experience with development strong plus
Experience in implementing WMS systems and/or SAP solutions
Exposure to SAP In – store solutions (MIM; MIM – Mobile; FIORI)
SAP inbound/outbound logistics and inventory management
SAP- retail domain
SAP SD, PRICING (MM/SD RETAIL), BILLING AND ORDER MANAGEMENT FUNCTIONALITY WITH RETAIL PRICING FUNCTIONS?
SAP PROMOTIONS AND BONUS BUY FUNCTIONALITY

Knowledge and Skills
SAP – Retail Domain
Creating and changing Functional specifications
Implementation of SAP’s HANA model
Integrating SAP and Non-SAP systems
