We are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled Educator candidate for one of our clients, to be based in Johannesburg. The candidate will be fundamental for the team development and support. He/she will be responsible for delivering an engaging and stimulating curriculum in a range of related subjects effecting the business outputs. They must also be able to effectively manage training rooms, motivate employees, provide feedback, and monitor progress.
Minimum Requirements Qualification and Experience
• Bachelor of Education (B. Ed) or a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)NQF Level 6, Diploma (including a college or NATED diploma); OR. an appropriate 360-credit NQF Level 7, bachelor’s degree.
• Matric, preferably Diploma, Degree with a basis in the sciences, maths.
• Knowledge of the latest teaching methods and developments in education.
• Ability to plan, prepare and deliver interactive and engaging lessons.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
• Preferable 4 – 5 years’ teaching / lecturing experience.
• Driver’s License.
• English and Afrikaans spoken fluently and written.
• Microsoft Office.
Key Responsibilities defined but not limited to the below
• Deliver mentoring and training to employees on all aspects of the business and or co-ordinate appropriate vendors, experts in the field to provide this training.
• Assess and evaluate employees’ progress.
• Co – ordinate efforts with foreign group companies.
• Obtain feedback on the effectiveness of the training.
• Forge relationships with educational institutions.
• Formalise and monitor annual training budget.
• SDL training submissions.
