Job Summary:
The function is that of ensuring, maintaining and operating the QC Lab instruments efficiently. As well as meeting and / or always improving standards with approved quality

Minimum Qualifications and experience:
Inspection on jobs of various departments and check job to official copy/proof and record it on various QC forms and checking QC 2 reports
Read and understand work tickets
Receiving of jobs done by sub-contractors
Inspection and testing of incoming board and paper from various suppliers
Closing of Work tickets
Making up colour standards for various customers
Filling of QC reports, Ok to runs, customer pass sheets and colour standards
Compiling C.O.C reports for various customers

Minimum Job Requirements:
Required to work overtime from time to time
Prompt and punctual
Neat, tidy, disposition with attention to detail
Work independently through the Team Leader
Reliable Transport
Matric
3 Years Experience in similar position
3 Same or similar experience in printing and packaging environment

General
General knowledge and awareness of health and safety policies and procedures
Knowledge and understanding of quality procedures
Understand in detail, the duties and procedures relating to printing and packaging
Familiar with Company disciplinary procedures
