Employee Relations Officer
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Employee Relations Specialist to promote positive labour relations and provide specialist advice on labour law, industrial relations, collective bargaining, dispute resolution, and employee relations matters.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Labour Relations, or related qualification.
Minimum 5 years’ experience in Labour Relations Management.
Minimum 3 years’ experience within the Public Sector.
Strong knowledge of the Labour Relations Act and related employment legislation.
Extensive experience in collective bargaining, grievance handling, disciplinary processes, and CCMA representation.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain employee relations policies and procedures.
Provide labour relations advice and support to management and employees.
Manage grievances, disciplinary matters, and misconduct cases.
Represent the organisation at the CCMA and other dispute resolution forums.
Facilitate engagement with trade unions and employee representatives.
Assist with collective bargaining and wage negotiations.
Monitor labour relations trends and ensure legislative compliance.
Prepare and present employee relations reports.
