Job Summary:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled Sales Engineer candidate for our client, to be based in the Cape Town branch. The candidate will be fundamental for our external customer support, ensuring achievement of our revenue growth objectives. Comfortable in receiving calls, working with key partners, generating sales interest, and closing sales deals. The candidate will be based in Cape Town.
Minimum Qualifications and experience:
National Diploma or Degree in Mechanical/Mechatronic Engineering.
Preferable 3 – 5 years’ experience within engineering or a technical environment.
Preferable good working knowledge of Fluid Power.
Driver’s License.
English spoken fluently and written.
Microsoft Office and CAD.
Minimum Job Requirements:
Developing and implementing business strategy in conjunction with management.
Maintain and grow existing customers.
On-board and develop new customers in consultation with the Branch Manager.
Provide technical and service support to customers.
Grow sales from customers assigned to you while maintaining ethical standards in accordance with Companies policies and ethics.
Increase sales and project quote intake and hit rate.
Manage customer accounts.
Travel locally and within SADC countries when required.
Assist engineering with quoting, system design and commissioning.
Grow sales to achieve or exceed monthly/annual targets.
Visit new and existing customers with the aim of growing / sustain the Company business.
Sales forecasting.
Attend training courses.
